William Hammond is a plant physiolgocial ecologist pursuing a Ph.D. in the department of Plant Biology, Ecology, and Evolution at Oklahoma State University. He is interested in the interaction of plants with their environment, and how those interactions shape distributions of plants across large spatial scales. Presently he is investigating drivers of tree mortality through empirical study of physiological thresholds. You can follow him on Twitter at @wmhammond and visit his website at https://www.wmhammond.com
