The Annals of Botany AoB office in Leicester is expanding with a much needed PhD-level person who will assist with editing and publishing the Journal. The position is based in the Editorial Office at the University of Leicester, and will be for three years.
In this position you will provide essential input, managing special issues and article types, and support towards both the scientific content and publication of the academic journal Annals of Botany and its marketing within the scientific research community that it serves. Working closely with the Managing Editor, for whom you will deputise when appropriate, you will help to develop all aspects of the journal’s editorial processes and promotional activities. The position is based in the Genetics Department in the University of Leicester. The tasks are varied and involve a mixture of reactive and proactive tasks involved with publishing and managing a world-class scientific journal owned by a not-for-profit charitable organization.
